2010 SPORTSMANSHIP AWARD WINNERS  

 Our first Harry Hughes Sportsmanship award for 2010 was given out on Saturday May 1 at the Spring Clinic to Ricky Walker.  He is a novice rider who was participating in the western horsemanship session and his horse decided to lope the arena even though Ricky was not intending for this to happen.  With the help of the instructors of the session as well as the other participants and even a few spectators he was able to stop his horse.  He recomposed himself and held his chin high as he worked the pattern and had a great attitude throughout the rest of the day.  Congratulations Ricky!!
